Chapter Details
On December 6th 2006 a holiday soiree / opening celebration was hosted by the Stepping Stone Museum in Havre De Grace, MD. The event was well attended by community members, educators, and others.

Several speakers addressed the standing room only crowd. Among them, Gandhi Hurwitz (the book's creator), Jonathan Huxtable (Head of Harford Friends School), Liz Entwisle (The Book's Editor), Jon Polikowski, (Director of Technology), and Tamika Hudson (Harriet Tubman interpreter). In attendance were the artisans from the Stepping Stone Museum who volunteered their time and skill to craft the book.

Guests enjoyed star-gazing via telescopes courtesy of the Harford County Astrological Society.
